On 21 October 2010, the Ludwig Boltzmann Society celebrated its 50th birthday. On this occasion, 24 Ludwig Boltzmann Institutes and Clusters presented their research work in short presentations. In four corners, six presentations each were held simultaneously. The listeners were given headphones and could choose from the multitude of the ongoing talks. The lectures were recorded and repeated later on monitors, so that visitors were able to  make up for missed presentations.
