Malmö University is Sweden’s eighth largest university of undergraduate studies and has six school and faculty areas, all of which are multi-disciplinary. The Boltzmann partnership is coordinated by Bo Petersson, professor of Global Political Studies, for the School of International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER). The lecture and research focus of IMER is on questions such as

• migration
• ethnicity
• integration
• peace and conflict
• culture
• human communication and language
• morals and ethics

IMER also holds a guest professorship in the memory of the former German Chancellor and Nobel Peace Price laureate Mr Willy Brandt. The professorship is taken up each year by an internationally recogonized and well-known academic.
